The key to getting people to read your blog is to communicate with them rather than expressing yourself to them. Sometimes you can communicate and express yourself at the sametime but really self expression is for yourself not for someone else. People are not necessaryily interested in you. I have noticed this principle in action quite clearly on this blog. The posts people are reading the most are clearly posts which communicate information or a point of view on a particular topic. People are not interested in some rant about something thats bugging you. They are interested in something that they can relate to in their own lives or something that is of use to them. That makes sense.
