The Binnie Report David Bain

First of all I would like to say sorry to Mr Justice Binnie for the way he has been treated by the New Zealand Government. If only we had more people like him in New Zealand. The calibre of the Canadian Supreme Court is huge. You only have to read a major judgment in the Criminal law field to marvel at the depth of their judicial system. Especially so as we presently have the spector of an even greater miscarriage of justice in the name of the David Tamihere Case. This case is going to blow big time very shortly. David Tamihere was in jail for 21 years. The problem in New Zealand is that the Government is run by the Police Department and the socalled intelligence agencies. The only good thing to come out of the Bain debacle is that the Government has revealed itself as the Stazi like organization that it is. The Pike river mine disaster is another example of this attitude. If John Key has any balls he will step in and make an executive decision to pay David Bain, fire Judith Collins and set up a Commission of Inquiry chaired by Justice Binnie into the David Tamihere case. Merry Xmas to everyone.

    You are spot on.
If only our so called law enforcers including the Govt could be held accountable for their wrong-doings, then and only then will they all start following the Law themselves.
