Everyone is entitled to a defence.

As a criminal lawyer you are regularly asked how can you act for someone who you know is guilty. You almost need a tape recorded message to respond with. The underlying question is really dont you think there is a danger that people will think that you agree with what this person has done. And there is a risk of that but at the end of the day it means very little as it is not your job to agree with what has happened but rather to guide the person through the criminal justice system as their advocate and I mean their advocate not somebody elses.
